So, first let me say I did not realize your question was sitting here. Secondly, here is the coffee 4-1-1:
Coffee is extremely acidic AND usually is processed with a lot of chemicals. If you are able to get Swiss water processed, organically grown coffee, drinking a small amount won’t generally add to your body’s toxic burden. Here’s the key point – for every cup of coffee you drink, you will want to drink 4 cups of water to rehydrate the body to counter the dehydrating impact of the coffee.
I drink coffee medicinally. It is a vascular constrictor, so if I begin to feel a little tension headache, I will drink about 2 ounces of coffee. For the most part, though, after doing Phase 1 of the Misner Plan, I did not want coffee again. Did not even like it!

Crystal, I’m so glad you found the Misner Plan! The chronic illnesses can be healed by the body in just about every case if you begin to nourish and support the system. The radical changes Ivan and I made did just that and we have been amazed. I know you both will be, too.

Moji, I am not sure what brands are available in your area. We are using one with four chambers: charcoal, lava rock, filter, and quartz rock. Additionally, we have a reverse osmosis under the sink for drinking and cooking. You can get ones with UV lights, as well, to kill bacteria. We have a BNI water filtration system guy, Frank Bigelow, in BNI here. Would you like to talk with him via email? I can connect you with him for his recommendations.
Cindy, it is all about sugar content. They all tend to be higher in sugar than the non-sweet veggies. Avocado is actually a fruit, did you know that? All fruit (including tomatoes) are put on hold during Phase 1 and Phase 2.
No, there is no harm, actually we continue taking the Cleanzyme using two per meal all the time. They do help us digest and they have the beneficial bacteria we need, so we aren’t taking extra capsules of another supplement.
