Beth & Ivan, My wife, Becky, and I have just begun Phase 1. We have no problem with food prep for lunch and dinner but would like some suggestions for breakfast meals in Phase 1.
Hi, Jim. Great!! I’m so glad you are giving it a go! Here are some of the things Ivan and I enjoy for breakfast during Phase 1:
Sliced cucumbers with green onion tops, chopped parsley, tossed with lemon juice (about 1 tsp) and sea salt
Grilled zucchini drizzled with olive oil, sprinkled with Celtic salt flakes
Grilled onions with steamed spinach, 1 Tbsp Lemon Olive Oil (see website recipe section), sea salt and garlic powder
After day four:
Brown rice with 2 tsp. coconut oil and cinnamon
Buckwheat groats with 2 tsp. coconut oil and cinammon
Quinoa with 2 tsp. coconut oil and cinammon
Wild rice with sauteed chopped onions, toasted garlic chips, steamed spinach and Lemon Olive Oil

Fixed Mean Green Soup…it was great! Even Becky who’s not an aficionado of cabbage liked it.
I LOVE this soup. So full of antioxidants and great nutrients.
